Calgary was the ending point of our amazing Rocky Mountaineer Train Adventure across Canada. It is known for the “Calgary Stampede”, but it is also a great restaurant city because it offers something for everyone. We found everything from top-notch steakhouses to trendy international eateries, reflecting the city’s rich cultural mix. Calgary is also known for its local ingredients, like Alberta beef. The city’s restaurants are also creative, with many chefs putting their unique twists on classic dishes. We thought Ten Foot Henry was a great restaurant in Calgary because it served fresh food and surprised us with its creativity. The menu focuses on vegetables, but even if you’re not a big veggie fan, you’ll love how they turn simple ingredients into something special.
