China
China was our first Asian country, and it was an experience that we will never forget. We did a big grand tour with our daughters when they were in college. We will forever remember the Great Wall and the Terra Cotta Warriors.

Our Visit
Where do we begin when talking about Beijing? It starts with a late-night arrival at the airport, a two-hour trip to our hotel, not because of the distance but because we stayed in a cheap hotel that the taxi driver couldn’t find. After sleeping in a rock-hard bed, we woke to a traditional Chinese breakfast buffet with foods we’d never seen. It was so much fun! We also traveled to Xi’an to see the Terracotta Warriors and Guilin to take a boat ride on the Li River. We filled our hearts with many travel memories, including one we called, Racing in China (see the blog post below).
